When making arrangements for the music/entertainment for your event, try and use someone who comes recommended.
It's always better to use someone who has done such events before.
1. Be sure to clearly explain to them the running order for the event.
2. If you have any particular requests for music ensure the D J is given plenty of notice.
3. If you or anyone else plans on doing a speech be sure to pre worn the D J.
4. Most of all be sure the D J knows what time the music needs to be turned off. If they run over it could cost you money and may also be in breach of the hire conditions of the venue.
