Wedding Drinks Packages
With the wedding meal its essential to offer you're guests some drinks either on the tables or from the bar. When organising the drinks its important to remember the non alcoholic guests. With beers and wines now readily available for non alcoholics its not hard to cater for the non drinkers you may have at you're wedding.
Based on an average table for 8 to 10 people we recommend 2 bottles of white wine, 2 bottles of red wine, 2 bottles of still water and 2 bottles of sparkling water. This is generally adequate and if more is required it can be replenished or alternatively swapped with other tables. If you are having a cash bar for the evening reception it is important to limit the free drinks on the tables.
This should encourage guests to use the bar and in return is less of an expense on the wedding organisers. In our experience its been best to give all the drinks responsibility to one company.
The wines on the table should be of an average quality and generally 1 type of white and 1 type of red, we have found chardonnay or sauvignion blanc and shiraz or merlot to have been very popular. On some occasions we have personalised the wine labels marking the occasion.
Some guests buy these bottles as souvenirs to mark the wedding as the wine will often have the bride/grooms names, date of the wedding and the venue address.
This idea has proven successful for corporate events as well as weddings, contact our staff for more information on wedding drinks packages.
